How is electric bicycling different from regular bicycling?
If you have only ever ridden a regular bicycle before, your experience will not feel too different. You pedal and the bike goes, it just does so with much more vigor. If you have ridden a few electric bikes before, ours may feel a little more different. Most e-bikes are really built for flat city riding, not hill climbing. But not our mid-drives. Our bikes have far more torque than the average e-bike, to enable our steep climb without working the rider or the bikes too hard.

Can I bring my kids on the tour?
You can bring children aged 16+ on this ride.
Can I bring my pets on the tour?
No, we have no accommodation for pets.
Will I need to sign a waiver?
Yes, all guests who ride electric bikes must fill out a liability waiver.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel online up to 1 hour after booking. You will have to call to cancel after that.
What if the weather is bad?
The tour will depart except in the event of a complete and sustained downpour. The bikes are waterproof, and the scenery is especially amazing after the rain (which is almost always short-lived in our Mediterranean climate).
Can I charge my phone on the ride?
Some but not all of the tour bikes are outfitted with USB charging. We highly recommend you charge before arriving for your tour.
Can I buy my tour bike after the ride?
You sure can. Talk to your guide after the ride and we can make arrangements for the sale of your tour bike.
What should I bring with me on the tour?
Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a sweater or jacket. In the afternoons, the descent from the Hollywood Sign will be chilly. A winter helmet liner and gloves will be provided so you stay comfortable at speed.
Is biking in LA safe?
Yes absolutely. We take great pride in providing bike tours that are both fun, engaging, and above all else—safe. Each guest will receive a safety debriefing at the beginning of the ride, and our expert guides will make sure you’re comfortable before departure. Once you’re riding, we’ve connected the safest streets, bike paths, and lanes to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
